FIRE AND ICE Some say the world will end in fire, Some say in ice. From what I've tasted of desire I hold with those who favor fire. But if it had to perish twice I think I know enough of hate To know that for destruction ice Is also great, And would suffice.
I'll be here Forever ready to lend A sympathetic ear. There are some wounds I can't help heal. But, I trust, that Time will heal the wounds as it must.
Sometimes the pain is so bad, the Tears won't come. The world spins, and changes. And Nothing happens.
The pain is numbing, so I forget to feel. I Smile on the outside, and continue. As if nothing happened.
